TRAINING AND EVENTS
For serveral years now , NATO has arranged numerous training events in conjunction with Trevor Roberts Associates, leaders in training for officers in local government. The workshop training has proved popular and we continue to develop the course material to suit the needs of tree officers nationally. The workshop sessions are limited to just 20 places and are run by experts in their particular field. The day is an intensive one but from the feedback we receive we are content that this type of training is right for you as tree officers in local government. We aim to cover the country geographically and we make changes to the programme each year running each event in different locations such that travelling times can be kept to a minimum. We always use excellent hotels and conference facilities so as to make the day run smoothly. In addition to the training programme we also aim to organise each year a National Forum on Trees, a full one day conference where we can explore in detail current issues facing us in our day to day jobs. For these events we try to find a suitable venue which is easy to get to for everyone and which can cope with larger numbers of delegates and speakers. We aim to attract good quality speakers from our industry and to stimulate discussion and debate.
For both the programme of training and the annual forum the events are open to everyone but we do also offer discounts for members of NATO.
